A group of enthusiasts for South Cumbrian transport nostalgia sparked a bidding frenzy on internet auction site Ebay for a list of places where an old bus might stop in Barrow and Furness.
The destination roller blind - as you would have seen above the driver in the front of a 1950s or 1960s bus - finally sold for £227 after 39 bids.
Modern buses show the destination in orange lights and don't rely on the driver to keep rolling the list forward on the route.
Among the bus stops named on the roll is Tea House, Friars Lane, North Scale, Cemetery, Southampton Street and Amphitrite Street.
For longer runs, it also lists Roose, Goadsbarrow, Dalton and Ulverston.
There is a good chance that the complete roll of Barrow area destinations will be cut up for framing. Individual bus stop names now sell for around £20 to £30.
