A BARROW woman charged with stealing more than £120,000 from a pharmacy is set to go on trial.
Lisa Cavanagh, 37, of Chester Street, Barrow, is accused of one count of theft by an employee and pleaded not guilty at a hearing at Barrow Crown Court on March 18.
It is alleged that Cavanagh stole money to the value of £128,559.60 between January 1 2009, and December 31 2014 from Cowards Pharmacy in Hartington Street.
The date for a trial had initially been set for August 15 at Preston Crown Court but has since been changed to February 20 of next year at the same court. A pre-trial review will take place at Preston Crown Court on October 21 of this year.
