A BARROW woman was sent to prison after pleading guilty to stealing three televisions worth more than £500.
Amy Lee Colette Spelman, 25, of no fixed abode, appeared at Furness Magistrates' on October 31 where she pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and three counts of theft from Asda in Barrow in September and October.
She was given a four-week custodial sentence for the assault and 12 weeks custodial for the thefts.
Spelman must also pay a victim surcharge of £115 and repay the full amount of the stolen items.
