A WOMAN from Barrow has been sentenced after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.

Megan Louise Rose, of Park Avenue in Barrow, was charged with four offences after an incident in her street on April 7 of this year.

The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to riding a JMC scrambler motorbike while banned from driving, driving without insurance or wearing protective headgear and driving dangerously.

At Preston Crown Court today, Rose was given a three-year community order and must complete 20 days of a rehabilitation requirement.

She was also banned from driving for 16 months, given a three-month curfew between 7pm and 7am every day, and must sit an extended retest once her driving ban ends.
