A BARROW woman has been charged with sexually assaulting a male and inserting a pair of scissors in his anus.
Shannon Jones, of Brown Street, Barrow, did not enter pleas to the three charges when she appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The 20-year-old is accused sexually penetrating the anus of a man aged 16 or over with a pair of scissors without consent, sexual assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Jones will appear before Preston Crown Court on September 16.
