A BARROW man who allegedly carried a lock knife and stole two energy bars from a supermarket is due to appear in court.
Damian Holowacz, 18, will appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Tuesday September 20 charged with two counts of theft from a shop and possessing a knife blade in a public place.
It is alleged that Holowacz, of Ormsgill Lane, Barrow, stole two coconut energy bars costing 78 pence from Tesco and a bottle of Jack Daniels and sweets from Asda costing £35.50 on July 14 while carrying a knife.
