A LIVE music venue is recruiting wannabe pop stars for their latest talent scouting competition.
The Berry Factor is returning to Abbey Road's recently revamped pub, The Strawberry and hoping to sift through the good, the bad and the hilarious in the search for the area's top talent.
Managers Beth and Zane Dawson will be taking on the role of Simon Cowell and enlisted Barrow DJ Nathan Tooze to help.
Mrs Dawson said: "Everyone and anyone is welcome, we run four heats and people can some and sing any week.
Six-figure face lift hopes to inject new life into Barrow pub
"We never say anything bad to anyone, it's all positive and we let the public decide.
"It was busier last year than the year before and I think people see it as a bit of fun and it's raising money for a good cause."
The winner will get £200 prize money and the runner up £100.
Heat one starts on Thursday October 6, from 8.30 pm and the night also aims to raise money for Help for Heroes.
