TWO Barrow takeaway employees have today (17) been convicted of assault following an appearance at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
Emre Osman, 20, of The Hot Potato, William Street, and Denis Ozmus, 28, of Parade Street, both stood accused of assaulting Andrew Crossman on March 26 this year.
The pair who work at The Hot Potato takeaway both pleaded guilty to the offence.
Osman was fined £650, ordered to pay £150 compensation to the victim and prosecution costs of £200.
Ozmus was fined £1,100. He was also ordered to pay £150 compensation and £200 in costs.
