BOSSES at Thorntons have reversed the decision to close their shop in Barrow town centre.
The Evening Mail revealed last month that the chocolate retailer was planning to close its shop 11 years after it first opened.
Staff at the store on Portland Walk were told of the decision to remain open around lunchtime today.
The unit was previously a Barratts shoe store before it was taken over by Thorntons in 2006.
