A BUILDING in Barrow town centre was closed to carry out important structural work.

One of the high street's busiest stores was sealed off temporarily on Monday to carry out structural repairs on its roof.

Customers of Costa's Dalton Road branch were warned not to enter the premises by tape across the front of the store.

The coffee shop has since reopened and is serving customers again as usual.

A Costa spokesperson said: “The Costa on Dalton Road closed temporarily yesterday to make minor repairs to the store’s roof. We can confirm the store is now open again as usual.”
