RESIDENTS are being warned to expect a site-wide testing of the alarm at the shipyard in Barrow this week.
BAE Systems is due to test the warning siren in Barrow on Friday July 14 at noon.
The checks, which must be carried out routinely, are expected to take 45 minutes and will likely be heard across Barrow.
Residents are reminded this is a standard test and no action needs to be taken.
