MOTORISTS have been warned of road closures as a heavy load is transported to the shipyard in Barrow.
BAE Systems is due to transport two heavy loads by road on Tuesday, August 2. The loads will be transported from Associated British Ports (ABP) to the Devonshire Dock Hall via Michaelson Road and Bridge Road.
There is expected to be some disruption to traffic between 10.00am and 11.30am with roadblocks in place on Michaelson Road, Bridge Road and Walney Roundabout.

On Tuesday, car parking will be restricted along the centre of Michaelson Road and Bridge Road from midnight on Monday.
