A BARROW primary school has confirmed it is set to close for a day while staff training takes place.
St George's Church of England Primary School in School Street, Barrow, will be closed on Monday February 27 of next year.
The school will be closed for the day to allow staff to complete new phonics training and will reopen on the following day, Tuesday February 28.
