A DOG which went missing and sparked a social media search for its owner has been claimed.
The pooch, which went missing in Ulverston yesterday evening was being cared for by Barrow police, who ignited the search for the animals owner on Twitter using the hashtag #InTheDoghouse.
After a valiant effort by The Mail's readers who shared the post more than 60 times, the pooch, has now been reunited with its family.
