POLICE are appealing for information following a report of a man asking members of the public for cash outside a bank in Barrow.
The male is alleged to have been approaching members of the public for money at around 9.10am this morning outside Barclays in Dalton Road however police are keen to speak to an elderly female who may have been approached by this male and potentially been assaulted by him.
The male is described as a white male in his 30s, of slim build, 5ft 7in tall, with stubble, wearing a blue puffa jacket with a hood up and grey tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Barrow Police on 101 and quote log number 82 of today.
