A PENSIONER from Barrow is due to appear in court accused of causing a three-vehicle pile-up.
James Callister, of Cowlarns Road, is listed to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
The 86-year-old is accused of driving his Citroen without due care and attention in Hawcoat Lane on January 20.
The offence alleges that Callister turned right into a minor road and crashed into a BMW, causing it to collide with a Vauxhall car. The case first came before the courts on August 11, when it was adjourned at the request of the prosecution.
