Barrow man jailed after admitting domestic violence assault on woman in Dalton
A MAN from Barrow has been locked up for three weeks after pleading guilty to assault.
Daniel Carl Green, of Hartington Street in Barrow, appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to assaulting Margaret Green in Dalton on July 12.
The 31-year-old was jailed for 21 days with magistrates arguing the offence warranted a custodial sentence because it was a domestic violence incident and because Green had previous convictions.
