A BARROW man has appeared in court after being charged with a string of offences relating to indecent images of children.
Lee Steven Forster appeared at Carlisle Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old, of Newton Brow, Barrow, is charged with three counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, one count of possessing an indecent photograph of a child, one count of possession of a prohibited image of a child and possession of an extreme pornographic image.
All six offences are alleged to have happened between January 1 and July 1 of this year in Barrow.
The images are classified as category A, B and C, with category A including the most serious.
Forster did not indicate a plea to the offences. He will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court on December 30.
