A BARROW man has been fined for possession of cannabis and amphetamine.
Robert Morgan, 34, of Lindal Street, was found with the Class B drugs at his home while police searched his property for an unrelated matter on June 19 of last year.
Furness Magistrates' Court was told that officers smelt cannabis after arriving at the address.
They then discovered four wraps of cannabis and two wraps of amphetamine during a search.
Ms Maureen Fawcett, in mitigation, said: "It was a small amount. It was accepted that it was for personal use."
Magistrates fined Morgan £75 for each offence and ordered him to pay a £20 victim surcharge, with a total court bill of £170. The forfeiture and destruction of the drugs was also ordered.
