A BARROW man accused of allegedly causing death by dangerous driving will be tried next month.
Richard Cupid, of Newbarns Road in Barrow, appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court this morning.
He was charged of causing the death of 81-year-old Roa Island resident John Bromley on the A5087 Coast Road on May 17 of last year. He is also alleged to have caused serious injury by dangerous driving, in the same incident, to Heather Gillespie.
The 30-year-old defendant made no indication of plea and will appear before Preston Crown Court on Friday October 14.
