A 37-year-old is to stand trial accused of using threatening behaviour.
Simon James Duffield, of Manchester Street, Barrow, appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court on Thursday. (18)
It is said that on June 30 he used threatening behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to someone listening.
Duffield denied the charge when he appeared before the Abbey Road court.
The defendant was represented in court by defence solicitor Miss Maureen Fawcett.
The case will now be listed for trial at a date yet to be set.
