A MAN accused of driving a Mercedes down the A590 without valid insurance is due to appear on trial.
Glyn Atkinson, 53, of Undergreens Road, Barrow is expected to stand trial at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Friday, December 15.
It is alleged that Atkinson drove the vehicle down the A590 at Newlands on May 25 this year without having a valid insurance policy.
The defendant previously appeared at the Barrow Magistrates' Court on November 15 where he pleaded not guilty and had his case adjourned for the trial.
