Richard Jack Cupid, of Newbarns Road, Barrow, appeared before Furness Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The 30-year-old faces charges of causing the death of John Bromley by dangerous driving and causing serious injury to Heather Gillespie by dangerous driving on Sunday May 17 2015.

Mr Cupid gave no indication of plea and will appear before Preston Crown Court on October 14.
