A BARROW man has admitted drink driving while he was three times the legal alcohol limit.
Terence Williams pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when he appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court in Barrow on Tuesday.
The 59-year-old, of Strawberry Terrace, was stopped by police in Abbey Road on August 29 while driving a BMW. A breath test later revealed he had 121 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Williams was given an interim driving ban and will appear at the same court on Tuesday September 20 to be sentenced.
