Preston Crown Court
A 37-year-old Barrow man has been referred to the crown court after being accused of sexual activity with a child.
Dean Richard Fawcett, of Cross Street, went before Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday.
It is alleged that Fawcett engaged in a sexual act with a girl under the age of 13 on September 16.
He will remain in custody until he next appears at Preston Crown Court on October 20.
Fawcett did not indicate a plea.
