A MAN accused of brandishing a samurai sword in a Barrow street will appear on trial in Crown Court.
Courtney David Moore, of St Vincent Street, Barrow, appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court on September 20 where he faced three separate charges.
Moore, 22, is alleged to have assaulted Shirley Lydia Jane Sowerby in Barrow, been in possession of samurai sword, in St Vincent Street, and used or threatened unlawful violence on April 4.
The case was committed to Preston Crown Court for trial on October 20.
