A BARROW assistant hotel manager has denied stealing hundreds of pounds from his former employers.
Jason Paul Andrews appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court on Thursday February 16 where he pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing a total of £734 belonging to his former employer, the Chetwynde Hotel, in Barrow.
Andrews, 25, is accused of theft on seven occasions between May 13 and July 20 at the hotel in Abbey Road where the defendant had the role of assistant manager.
Magistrates at the Barrow court committed the case to Preston Crown Court. A pre-trial hearing is set to take place at Preston Crown Court on March 17.
Andrews, of Walney Road, Barrow, was granted bailed until the next hearing date.
