BARROW foodbank has issued an urgent plea for the donation of certain items.
The service is in urgent need of sponge puddings, biscuits and tea bags, and has called on members of the public to continue to help those in need.
The foodbank, which has satellite bases in Millom and Ulverston, accepts a wide range of items, including toiletries, cleaning products, baby items and cat and dog food.

Rice;
Pasta sauce;
Tinned tomatoes;
Tinned beans;
Tinned meat;
Tinned fish;
Tinned vegetables;
Tinned fruit;

Tea or coffee;
Rice pudding;
Sugar;
UHT/long life fruit juice;
UHT milk.
