FIREFIGHTERS have tonight rescued a seagull which was left dangling by its wing from a TV aerial in Barrow.
The gull was pinned to the aerial on a roof of a house in Laburnum Crescent, Barrow.
The crews were called out at around 6.30pm.
Residents watched as Barrow crews used an aerial ladder platform to get to the bird. They managed to untangle the seagull and it flew off.
