A POPULAR adventure experience in Barrow is set to get a ghoulishly scary makeover to celebrate Halloween.

For one night only, live actors will infiltrate the Escape Room in Barrow to surprise visitors as part of its fright night spooktacular on Friday October 28 between 6pm and 10pm.

Sinead Marshall, who is branch manager of the Rawlinson Street franchise, said that all of the staff are looking forward to celebrating Halloween in style and that actors will add a new dimension to the escape room experience.

She said: "I think it will make it more real. Everybody is really excited about it and it's as if the rooms are going to come to life."

The craze which gives people an hour to escape from one of four themed rooms has been well received in Barrow since opening earlier this year.

Miss Marshall added: "It's been very good and it's great that more and more people are finding out about us, especially since a lot of people in Barrow don't even know that we are here."

Prices start from £15 per person in a team of six or £22 each if two of you want to tackle a room.
