RESIDENTS tucked into sandwiches and cakes and soaked up a bit of nostalgia in Barrow.
People of all ages enjoyed the Vintage Afternoon Tea event held at Ormsgill Community Centre this week.
Afternoon tea was served up and the residents had a good time listening to performances by singer Becki Fishwick.
The community was also interested to view archive copies of the North-West Evening Mail from across the decades with Evening Mail librarian Heather Horner and editorial administrator Sheila Atkinson.
There was also a games of bingo for those attending the event. Members of Ormsgill Youth Group also helped out during the afternoon.
Residents and groups were invited to the community get-together by local PCSOs Michelle Jones and Tracy Livingston of Barrow police.
