POLICE are appealing for information after a boy was approached by a stranger at night.
At around 8.45pm on Saturday, a silver-coloured vehicle pulled up on Park Drive in Barrow and spoke to a 12-year-old boy before driving off.

The driver has been described as a male, in his 30s, of slim build with wavy hair.
Barrow Police have reported that the man told the boy that he had been sent by the boy's father to collect him.
The boy then ran away.

Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
