AN assault involving two groups of men is being investigated by police after reports that some of the suspects were carrying carving knives.
The incident happened on Schooner Street in Barrow on Friday August 26 at around 11.30 pm.
Police are investigating reports that a group of between two and five men assaulted two other males.
It is thought some of the suspects were carrying carving knives and other weapons and left the scene in an unknown vehicle.
