TWO Barrow and Furness election hustings events that have been postponed after the Manchester terror attack are being rescheduled.
Barrow Sixth Form College and the Furness branch of the Federation of Small Businesses both had Question Time-style debates planned for today with the Barrow and Furness parliamentary candidates, during the afternoon and the evening.
Election campaigning has been suspended after the bombing at Manchester Arena on Monday night which has killed 22 people, including children, and injured many more.
Barrow Sixth Form College has rescheduled the hustings to take place on the afternoon of Tuesday June 6 at its Rating Lane site. Furness FBS is still to confirm the new date for its hustings event.
