A 39-YEAR-OLD woman from Barrow has been denied bail after pleading not guilty to stealing a £6 bottle of wine from a supermarket.
Mr Peter Bardsley, prosecuting, told the court that Kerry Ann Wood, of Egerton Court, Barrow, was stopped by security with the wine in her bag outside the Tesco store in Hindpool Road on August 27.
She has been remanded in custody and will be tried at Furness Magistrates' Court on Thursday September 1 via a video link.
