A DALTON man is set to appear in court over an alleged racist incident at a Barrow AFC game.
Darren Cronin, of Cambridge Court, has been charged with two offences relating to an alleged incident at AFC's final game of the season against Wrexham on April 30.
The 41-year-old is accused of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour and of using racially aggravated threatening words against Barrow PC Tony Johnson following the final whistle.
Cronin is listed to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court in Barrow on Thursday.
