A BALLOON release is set to take place in Barrow in memory of lost loved ones.
The annual Balloons to Heaven event will be held at Holker Old Boys at the end of Rakesmoor Lane in Barrow on Sunday, September 25 from 12noon. Anyone who would like to release a balloon can do so in memory of a loved one.
The event has been widely supported by a number of local firms including Angela's School of Motoring, GasBagz, Barclays, Fantastique Fancy Dress, Enchanted Moments and Steele's Removals.
On the day, a number of stalls, fundraising activities and entertainment will be available. Balloons cost £5 for one or £20 for five and can be requested on the day or booked in advance via the Balloons to Heaven 2016 page on Facebook HERE .
Proceeds from the event will be split between St Mary's Hospital, the North West Air Ambulance in memory of Joe Andrews, the Defibrillator Appeal in memory of Joe Took and Barrow and South Lakes Down Syndrome.
