A NEW shop has opened up in Barrow town centre.
Emporium Bridal at Buccleuch Street in Barrow has been opened up by mum-and-daughter team Ann and Jayne Stewart.
The pair previously ran Emporium in Crellin Street from 2003 to 2010.
The opening of Emporium follows the news of two other shops taking over empty premises in Barrow town centre.
Anita and Terri O'Reilly are opening their Wedding Daze pop-up shop tomorrow from 10am in the former ns2 unit in Dalton Road.
The sisters who have donated a number of wedding dresses to charity ahead of the move from Cavendish Street, plan to run their business from the shop for a number of months.
Just around the corner in Cavendish Street, independent furniture and gift shop Signature is set to open on Friday October 28.
The outlet will sell handmade items, furniture and giftwares.
