Police are investigating a break-in to an allotment shed in Millom behind Milligans Garage.
This has happened between 6pm on Saturday July 18 and 9am on Sunday July 19.
A lock was forced and two petrol strimmers have been taken. One being a red Mountfield strimmer.
The victim is upset because this is the strimmer he uses to tend to the gardens of two local churches on a voluntary basis and the theft of this item will mean this job won't get done.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 or crime Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
