A CRASH on the A590 is affecting traffic flow between Barrow and Ulverston.
The incident is reported to have happened at the road's junction with The Green at Lindal at 12.05pm.
An 86-year-old man from Ulverston has been taken to Furness General Hospital.
The other motorist - a 78-year-old man from Grange - was driving a Land Rover and is understood to have been checked at the scene.
The road is partially closed.
Motorists are being advised that delays are likely.
