Are energy prices becoming unaffordable?

Yes (89%)
No (11%)

Have your say

The obvious answer to this question is a resounding yes as the vote count shows & with all these austerity measures the government is putting in place it is going to get a lot, lot worse.
All this is a direct result of privatisation of the respective energy companies & the sole aim of these companies is to make as much profit as possible.
It would be a good idea-in my dreams you may say-for every consumer to with hold payments on their bills en-mass.
I know every one-like myself-would want to pay it to "keep the wolves at the door" but this is out of control robbery!
It doesn't help to "shop around for the best deal" between the companies as they all have one thing in common-PROFITS-by the millions!
There should be a revolt against this......

By unaffordable do you mean people will not be able to afford them and do without? I think not.
