It should be up to the people who live there. We should be prepared to fight for their rights if they wish to remain British.

Having served in the British Army for 25 years and served twice down the Falkland island I can categorically state that the Islanders on the Falkland Islands wish to remain under the British Flag and therfore we should respect those wishes. It is easy for people who live in big cities to forget where they actually come from and should remember that many people died to give them the freedom that they live with now so why should we then take that away from our brothers and sisters in the Falklands, after all so many soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep this dream alive....

If there weren't for the considerable deposits of oil and gas offshore of the Falklands, Argentina's government wouldn't be in the least bit interested.

30 years ago our boys went to war to keep the falklands british some died for the cause. how can you now ask this question, were those lives lost in vain, are we to now just surrender the falklands. NO. the falklands are british and must stay that way, in memory of all the brave souls who didnt return
