AN investigation has been launched after police received reports of a number of people fighting in the street after two men were arrested.
Officers said one suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault and another on suspicion of assault and criminal damage following the brawl, which happened in Dalton on the night of September 1.
Both of them have been bailed while investigations continue.
Police are appealing for information after the Ulverston Road fight, which happened before 10pm.
Asking for assistance, a police spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact police, making reference to incident 261 of September 1."
