1 Big Trouble at The Derby, Barrow - TONIGHT

The rock covers band, featuring former T-Shirt and The Dangerous Brothers member Jeff Bilham on vocals and bass, experienced ex-Rush Hour and Blackridge guitarist Steve Porritt and drummer Neil Wise, who previously played with Catch 22, has picked up a following on the pub circuit over the past couple of years.

They will be playing their set of anthems from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Thin Lizzy, Cream, Bad Company, Dire Straits, Billy Idol and The Cult, from 9pm. Entrance is free.

2 Gemma Louise Doyle at Baha, Bowness - TONIGHT

The highly-acclaimed solo star, who has appeared live in London’s West End and in Las Vegas, returns with a set-list that includes songs from across the decades and genres including, opera, classical, pop, jazz, Motown, soul and more.

3 Indigo Youth and Deep Sands at Odd Frog, Barrow - TOMORROW

The Barrow indie pop band have their first hometown headline show at new venue Odd Frog.

The well-established five-piece, who have been together around a year, recently launched their brand-new single, Fool.

Support comes from stoner rockers Deep Sands.

4 Block Party at Baha, Bowness - TOMORROW

One of the most successful urban music nights in Cumbria returns to Baha, having run for 16 years, taking in more than 200 nights and earning a reputation as one best R&B and Hip-Hop nights in the north of England.

Joining resident DJ Bligenesss on the night will be the internationally-renowned Mark Devlin - a UK-based club and radio DJ, music journalist and author, specialising in R&B, soul, hip-hop and other forms of music.

5 Route 66 Legacy at The Golden Ball, Dalton - TOMORROW

The reformed Route 66 Legacy will headline at The Golden Ball, having played live around the region in the past 12 months.Mainstays of the local scene since the 1980s, the classic rock and pop covers band - known previously as Route 66, but renamed in tribute to founder member, Ron Crawford - returned to action last year. The free show is at 9pm.
