RISING star Dan Owen will be on his way to South Cumbria next month following the release of his brand-new album.

The singer-songwriter will be heading to Kendal Library this October to perform tracks from his dreamy new LP, Stay Awake With Me.

Following a string of irresistible singles, including the BBC Radio 1 and Virgin Radio playlisted Hideaway, and the 12 million stream-notching hit Made To Love You, Owen has just released his much anticipated debut album and will be taking it out on the road. With a knack for emotive, soulful tunes with lush orchestration in the vein of Paolo Nutini, Ed Harcourt, or Bon Ivor, Dan has also been winning fans with his impressive and distinct vocal talents, with The Independent championing the singer as “a voice quite beyond his years”.

The announcement comes as Dan’s latest single, Icarus, is added to the BBC Radio 2 playlist with rave support for the Shrewsbury singer coming from across the station.

Beloved by critics and DJs alike, Dan Owen is also a sought-after live draw and has sold-out a number of headline tours across the UK and Europe, including his biggest London headline show to date at The Jazz Café earlier this Summer. Dan has recently been touring Europe with Alice Merton and Isaac Gracie, and will hit the road in Europe again this autumn for his album tour.
