AN inquest has been opened into the death of a Barrow man found in water at a beauty spot.

AN inquest has been opened into the death of a Barrow man found in water at a beauty spot.
Michael Robert Park, 36, of Gatacre Street, was found in Rita Pond near Roanhead by police divers on Sunday afternoon.
Deputy coroner for South and East Cumbria Alan Sharp conducted the hearing at Barrow Town Hall yesterday afternoon.
Mr Park’s wife Samantha confirmed she had formally identified the body of her husband. The inquest was then adjourned to a future date to be arranged.
