A590 ---- Roadworks on the A590
OVERNIGHT roadworks with be taking place on the A590 in South Cumbria from tomorrow for two evenings.
Overnight maintenance work will be taking place along the eastbound carriageway between Meathop roundabout and Witherslack tomorrow and on Tuesday, between 8pm and 6am each night.
Highways England said a full closure of the eastbound carriageway will be in place. Drivers heading for the M6 will need to leave the A590 at Newby Bridge, taking the northbound A592 up to Windermere, the A591 towards Kendal, and then re-joining the A590 at Brettargh Holt roundabout.
