FIRE crews were called to the aid of a teenage girl stuck in a swing in Barrow.
Barrow firefighters received a call at around 6.30pm last night to reports of a young adult stuck in a baby swing at Abbots Vale Park in Barrow.
The girl, who was aged between 14 and 16, was recognised by one of the crew members who had been called to rescue her from another swing on a previous occasion. Firefighters said they used muscle power to hold the swing still while another pulled the girl out.
She was given "some advice" before the firefighters left.
Crew manager McCooey said: "It's a bit frustrating when there are other serious incidents going on."
