Barrow woman charged with murder due in court

A WOMAN from Barrow will appear in court tomorrow charged with murder.

Kirsty Edmondson, 23, formerly of Queen Street will appear at Manchester Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing.

She been charged with the murder of Kenneth Chapman from the Eccles area of Salford.

A provisional trial date for Edmondson and her co-accused, Christopher Sawyers, 35, has been set for Monday July 28.

Edmondson and Sawyers have no fixed address but are known to frequent the Manchester area.

The pair have also both been charged with theft, theft of a motor vehicle and seven offences of fraud.

No pleas have been entered for any of the charges.
