Barrow police on trail of car thieves

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a car from a Barrow street.

The silver Toyota Yaris, registration number PS63 FFY was parked in Ainslie Street, Barrow, on Wednesday when it was taken.

The theft is believed to have happened about 5am.

The car was last seen heading along the A590 away from the area.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area to contact PC Philip Johnson at Barrow police station.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously and in confidence on 0800 555 111.
